One Fur Fun Festival, Pickleball Tournament, Pet Walk, Pet Costume Contest

On Saturday, October 25, 2025, Wellington Athletic Club hosts our Fourth Annual One Fur Fun, a one-mile walk and festival supporting Humane Tomorrow, our local animal rescue and adoption group here in Flower Mound. This group does so much to help our furry friends and for our community, and we like to help them out whenever we can! This year we are adding a PICKLEBALL TOURNAMENT! It will be all level, with men's, women's, and mixed doubles teams. It will be limited to 36 teams, and it will be a double elimination so all teams are guaranteed a minimum of two games. There will be trophies along with gift card awards for the first and second place winners in the three divisions. We hope to have the registration links active by August 10, so please SAVE THE DATE!

One Fur Fun refers to the one-mile walk group walk around the Wellington neighborhood, but that's only a part of the activities available to participants. We have snacks, sponsor booths, a pet costume contest, and this year a Pickleball Tournament! All proceeds will go to benefit Humane Tomorrow.
