This event is open to the public, and all proceeds go to benefit Humane Tomorrow. Mark your calendar for the annual charity dog walk and festival to be held in the clubhouse parking lot at 3520 Furlong Drive East. This year we are including a Pickleball Tournament! The walk starts at 8:30 am; pet costume contest starts at approximately 8:50 am, and the pickleball tournament starts at 9 am. Activities include:
Sponsor booths
Water and snacks
Free bandanas for pets participating in the walk
Free pet costume contest with prizes for the pet costumes receiving the most votes
1-mile walk (humans with or without pets)
FREE tickets for the one-mile walk and pet costume contest are available
Register for the 1 mile walk and pet costume contest here. Each registration includes 1 voting ticket in the pet costume contest. You may register online until 3 pm on October 24, and after that you can register in person starting at 8:30 am on the day of the event, October 25. Costume contest voting tickets will also be sold at the event ($1 donation to Humane Tomorrow for each voting ticket purchased).
The One Fur Fun Pickleball Tournament is all level, with divisions for men, women and mixed doubles. Each division is limited to a maximum of 12 teams of two (36 teams total). Cost to register is $45 per person for the first division, and $25 to add a second division. 1st place division winners will receive a trophy and a $50 gift card, and the 2nd place winners will receive a trophy and a $25 gift card. One Fur Fun Pickleball Tournament
Notice to all who have registered: Early packet pick up will be at the Wellington clubhouse on Friday, October 24, from 11 am until 3 pm, but starting at 8:15 am on October 25 you can also register for the pet walk and costume contest in person. If there are slots still available for the pickleball tournament on Saturday you can also register for that. Plenty of parking is available next door in the Children's Courtyard/Primrose School parking lots.
