2019 Wellington Family Run Run & Walk
Register for Wellington's 16th Annual Family Fun Run & Walk - a community-wide event hosted by Wellington Athletic Club in Flower Mound, TX.
The event will take place on Saturday, April 20, 2019, and will include a USATF certified 5K road race (Cert. #TX08022ETM), 1-mile family fun run/walk, and refreshments. The registration booth opens at 7 am, the 1-mile untimed walk starts at 8 am and the chip-timed 5K race starts at 8:30 am.
The event is open to everyone and participants are welcome to run or walk with their (leashed) pets! All proceeds from race entry fees, donations, and t-shirt sales will be given to Humane Tomorrow (formerly the Humane Society of Flower Mound).
The 5K entry fee which includes a t-shirt (for size 2xl shirts add $2) is:
$25 if registration is received by April 8 (guarantees t-shirt size)
$30 for registration April 9 until noon April 19 (when on-line registration closes)
$40 for registration after noon April 19 until race time
Registration for kids 12 and under is $20 per child.
Groups of 10 or more may register for $20 each; for this option please contact Humane Tomorrow at funrun@humanetomorrow.org.

The Wellington Family Fun Run takes place rain or shine! In the event of inclement weather, we will monitor the weather reports and start the event when conditions permit a safe race.
Volunteers are needed to help with this event! Please complete a volunteer form to sign-up.
Packet pickup is on Friday, Apr. 19, from noon to 5 pm in the Wellington clubhouse. Please ring the doorbell for entry. You may also pick up race packets on Saturday before the race starting at 7 am on Wellington tennis court #1.
Awards for the 5K race will be given to the overall and masters male and female finishers and to the top 3 male and female winners in the following age categories: 0-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+.
