Maintain Don't Gain/Healthy Holiday Challenge

The Maintain Don't Gain challenge is available for download on our website at Maintain Don't Gain/Holiday Challenge.  The challenge is open to all Wellington residents. This year you do not need to weigh in with fitness staff, and you have a choice of including a weight component or not.  If you do want to include weight, just weigh yourself at home or here at the gym. And remember, kids can participate in this challenge too.  For more info just click the link above.

Pedometer Program Wrap-Up

Congratulations to all the Wellington residents who participated in the 2021 Heart & Sole pedometer challenge.  This year Wellington residents logged a grand total of 18,633,580 steps, or approximately 8,011 miles. Whew, that's a LOT of stepping!  The grand prize winner, drawn at random from the list of all adult finishers, is Erin Fisher. Erin receives a gift certificate to Academy Sports for her efforts. Our top stepper this year is Cindy Jones, who finished with 661,406 steps, or 284.56 miles. Melissa Bravo came in second with 655,279 steps (281.72 miles). The third-place finisher was Michael Laumann, who logged 654,006 steps (281.17 miles). In the Kids’ division the top finisher was Siddarth De, who ended with 475,658 steps (204.5 miles). Core Training Class will meet on Saturday, November 27, new AbLab class coming Dec. 1

To help you out with burning off the calories from that extra piece of pecan pie, not to mention the dressing and candied sweet potatoes, we WILL be holding the Core Training class as usual on Saturday, November 27, at 8 am.  There are no classes on Thanksgiving Day or on Friday, November 26, but the Saturday and Sunday classes will go on as regularly scheduled.  Also, starting in December we are adding a 15-minute quickie AbLab class on Wednesday mornings from 8:45-9:00 am.  No registration is necessary for any of our classes, just bring your mat and come!  You can download the November group ex schedule from our website at Wellington free group exercise classes

CCA Food Drive

A CCA donation drop box is now available in the clubhouse foyer until December 16.  Please consider donating non-perishable boxed or bagged food (example: cereal, pasta, rice), household goods (example: toilet paper, paper towels) and personal care items (example: soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste). 

Holiday Lighting Contest

Judging for the annual Holiday Lighting Contest starts December 8.  Ifyou would like to be a judge, please email wellington@wellingtonhoa.net.
